“Macatangay has previously worked for Marc Jacobs and JW Anderson, and the title of his 2020 graduation collection, Finding Beauty and Power in Struggle, is particularly relevant, given the ongoing global crisis,” sey ni Vogue writer Vincent Law.
Dagdag ni Vincent, “The ‘struggle,’ the difficulty Macatangay speaks of, is represented by a chair, an object created to sit and rest, but which if placed on a person’s body becomes an obstacle. This led the designer to observe whether we are able to find the sense of comfort and beauty in this situation.”
“Thank you so much @vogueitalia Sara Maino @saramaino_ Vincent Law @binzento and the whole Vogue Talents team for your support and for featuring my graduation collection at Vogue Italia,” caption niya sa Instagram.
