PDEA encourages the public to report illegal drug activities

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is encouraging the citizenry to report illegal drug activities happening in their neighborhood through its 24/7 call and text hotlines and the Director General’s own Facebook account.

“Known as ‘Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins!’, the Facebook page was created solely for informants and concerned citizens who want to help our country fight against illegal drugs,” said PDEA Director General Wilkins M. Villanueva.

Besides providing a venue that is accessible to the public to report to PDEA drug-related activities believed to take place in communities, “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins!” also offers the fastest, secure, and affordable means to receive information from concerned individuals.

“Supplied information may lead to the conduct of intelligence operations, and casing and surveillance operations, resulting in the arrest of high-value targeted personalities, seizure of sizeable amounts of illegal drugs, and dismantling of illegal drug facilities,” Villanueva said.

The public may send their reports to “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins!” concerning suspected illegal drug activities in their community by texting, or calling:

The public may also send private messages of anti-drug information via Facebook page: Wilkins Villanueva. “Rest assured that all received information will be treated with utmost confidentiality. Send reliable information and help us end the drug menace,” the newly installed PDEA chief said, encouraging the public to be more involved in the national anti-drug campaign.
