PNA statement Covid-19

Ayon sa kanilang position statement, “PNA, together with other health organizations and colleagues, is steadfast in supporting and assisting the DOH to fight this war against COVID-19.”

“However, PNA as the Accredited Professional Organization, is critical of the nurses welfare and would like DOH to issue specific guidelines for all Nurses who will answer DOH’s Call for Mobilization (It is the DOH not PNA who is calling)”, dagdag pa ng PNA.

Saad ng PNA, “Guidelines must stipulate their rights, benefits, protection, treatment and pay (including hazard pay). Just like any regular healthworkers, they should not be treated as merely volunteers because they too are professionals who are offering their skills, talents and time with a greater risk but with a call for moral obligation to the society”.
