Ang kanilang engrandeng kasal ay nakansela dahil sa pagkalat ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
Sa Facebook live ng Preview.ph, sinabi ni Sarah na nagdesisyon silang ikansela ito para sa kaligtasan ng kanilang mga bisita.
Ngunit, tinuloy pa rin nila ito ng isang simple civil wedding ceremony kasama ang kanilang pamilya.
“Kasi we’ve been together for almost eight years and we’ve always wanted to do this. We felt like, ‘You know what, let’s do it pa rin.’ We love each other so much and despite what’s happening, it’s really for us and it’s about time. It literally took one day. It was planned overnight.”
Balak pa rin nilang ituloy ang big wedding celebration next year.
