Inanunisyo ni Jane Marczewski, o mas kilala bilang Nightbirde na hindi na siya tutuloy sa America’s Got Talent competition dahil sa lumulubhang kalusugan.
Si Nightbirde ay Golden Buzzer ng show matapos awitin ang original song niya na “It’s Okay.”
“Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all my energy and attention,” sey niya sa kanyang social media post.
“I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it—but we knew that already.”
Sa kanyang performance sa show, binahagi niya na ang kanta ay tungkol sa buhay niya.
Ni-reveal niya rin na kumalat na ang cancer sa kanyang lungs, spine, at liver.
“Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. “My point of view this summer has been astounding. What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider.”
Nagpasalamat din si Marczewski sa patuloy na suporta at sinigurado niya na bubuti din ang kanyang kalagayan.
“I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams,” dagdag pa niya.
