14 OFWs in Cebu positive of COVID-19

Fourteen overseas Filipino workers (OFW) who returned to Cebu City on April 28 have contracted the coronavirus.

The 14 workers were part of more than 200 OFWs stranded in Manila due to enhanced community lockdown in Luzon, and were only allowed to return this week.

Before returning to Cebu, OFWs must undergo a 14-day quarantine and testing procedure.

Plaintiffs will pass the 14-day quarantine at a hotel in Cebu.
