Dalawa pang Pinoy seafarer ang naiulat na dinukot sa West Africa, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) kahapon.
Ayon sa DFA ang dalawang Filipino seafarer ay dinukot isang linggo matapos na kidnapin din ang siyam pang tripulanteng Pinoy sa Benin, African.
Dahil sa pinakabagong insidente ay umabot na sa 11 Pinoy seafarer ang hawak ng mga kidnaper sa West Africa.
“The Philippine government is actively tracking the development of the case with the embassy in Abuja continuing its coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the Filipino seafarers,” ayon sa inilabas na statement ng DFA.
